Visiting Massachusetts

This fall across Massachusetts, you’ll find a vibrant and eclectic mix of events, festivals, concert, attractions and more, all worthy of a visit from you. From Pittsfield way out west, to Plymouth and its seaside views, Massachusetts has much to offer visitors this fall. Plan your visit to the Bay State soon.

Concord will yield memorable experiences and fun-filled days for all, no matter the season of your visit. This fall, however, don’t miss your chance to see the Old North Bridge, Minute Man National Historical Park, the Ralph Waldo Emerson House – all unique, fun, and full of history.

One of the premier events in Concord this September is the Music Open House, held on the 10th at the Concord Conservatory of Music. Free to enter, the Music Open House is from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., and allows guests to explore the many different musical options found at the Concord Conservatory – it’s a very fun event for kids, as they can try new or different instruments for the first time. Make the drive in from nearby Chelmsford and toot that horn.

When you’re time in Massachusetts has you exploring Plymouth, be sure to check out King Richard’s Faire, one of the most-fun family events you’ll find around the MA coast. From September 3rd to October 23rd, head into nearby Carver, found just minutes to the west, and head for the Savery Historic District for the 35th edition of this olde tyme faire.

From North Dartmouth, make the short drive into Middleborough and check out their annual Octoberfest. On October 15th, head to KOA Campground starting at 2 p.m. for a wide range of Bavarian-themed fun – food, beverages, music, dance, and even games.

Be sure you see one of the premier comedy events of the year in Massachusetts. Head for Northampton, an easy drive north from nearby West Springfield along Interstate 91, and make your way to the Calvin Theatre on November 10th starting at 8 p.m. to see Lewis Black do what he does best.
