2. Fresh Pond Golf Course
Plan a visit to Cambridge and be sure to book a tee time at the Fresh Pond Golf Course. Easily accessed off of Concord Avenue, Fresh Pond GC opened in 1932 and was built around the actual body of water known as Fresh Pond. A nine-hole, executive course, Fresh Pond GC is open from April through December.
3. Renaissance Golf Club
When your visit to Massachusetts has you visiting Haverhill, don't pass on a chance to play 18 holes at the Renaissance Golf Club. Found almost directly north of Boston, Renaissance GC opened in 2005, plays to a par of 72, and has a max length of 7,100 yards. It's neatly situated along the Merrimack River, and was designed by Brian M. Silva.
4. Marlborough Country Club
Enjoy a stay in the city of Marlborough with a day out on the course – play 18 holes at the impressive Marlborough Golf Course. A par of 71, Marlborough Golf Course is found within the Marlborough Country Club, and offers public play on Mondays and Tuesdays. Many of the holes at Marlborough GC are tree-lined thanks to its proximity to the Marlborough State Forest.

6. Waverly Oaks Golf Club
Make the most of your next stay in Plymouth with 18 holes at the Waverly Oaks Golf Club. Accessed easily via State Route 3, Waverly Oaks GC opened in 1998, and has a max distance of 7,114 yards. You can find it just on the outskirts of the Myles Standish State Forest. This par-72 course is a must-play when visiting Plymouth.
7. William Devine Golf Course
South of Boston in Dorchester, book a tee time at the William Devine Golf Course. Found within Franklin Park, William Devine GC is 18 holes that offer a unique and fun challenge for golfers across all skill levels. It plays to a par of 72, opened in 1896, and is open for public play.

In the town of Sharon, discover and play a round or two at the very impressive Spring Valley Golf Course. Situated just east of Interstate 95, and only minutes from the nearby Moose Hill Wildlife Sanctuary, Spring valley Golf Course is a par-72 challenge for most golfers. It has a slope rating of 133, and is just one part of the luxurious Spring Valley Country Club.
