Massachusetts Hotel Reservations
Located near West Springfield, Springfield College is a private college found in the outskirts of Springfield in Massachusetts. The school was founded in 1885 and enrolls 3,600 undergraduates and 1,400 postgraduates. It is noted for being the birthplace of basketball, which was invented by James Naismith.
As the Springfield Pride, its varsity athletic teams compete in the New England Women's and Men's Atheltic Conference of NCAA's Division III. The college was also the site of the originial Basketball Hall of Fame, before it was moved to a new building closeby in downtown.
